Cardiovascular disease claims more lives in Delhi NCR than almost any other condition. With sedentary routines, rising stress and the region's air quality, preventive cardiac screening matters more than ever. Healing Tree Hospital, Indirapuram, runs a non-invasive cardiology service focused on early diagnosis, risk assessment and preventive care.
The tests: echo, TMT and Holter
Our cardiology outpatient service centres on standard non-invasive investigations of heart structure, valve function and electrical rhythm:
- Echocardiography (colour Doppler echo): uses ultrasound to build a real-time picture of the heart's chambers, valves and blood flow.
- Treadmill test (TMT): an exercise stress test that watches heart rate, blood pressure and ECG changes under exertion, to unmask hidden coronary artery disease.
- Holter monitoring (24/48 hours): a portable ECG worn at home that records the heart rhythm continuously, to catch intermittent palpitations and rhythm disturbances.
What a consultant cardiologist manages medically
Our consultant cardiologist manages the preventive and medical side of heart disease: coronary artery disease risk, heart failure, blood pressure emergencies, and the lifestyle changes that genuinely lower the chance of a heart attack.
An honest note: what we do not do on site
Healing Tree Hospital does not operate an invasive catheterisation lab (cath lab) for angiography or angioplasty on site. For a patient arriving with an acute heart attack who needs primary angioplasty, our emergency team's job is rapid stabilisation, clot-dissolving medication where indicated, and a direct, coordinated transfer to a tertiary cardiac centre. We would rather tell you this plainly than let you find out in an emergency.
