Dental Care

A proper dental department inside a hospital — which matters when you have diabetes, heart disease or blood-thinners in the picture and a clinic down the road hesitates. Fillings, root canals, extractions and dentures, done unhurriedly and with your physician a corridor away.

690+ dental visits this year — one of the busiest OPD chairs in the building.

Common questions

I am diabetic / on blood-thinners — can I get a tooth extracted here?

Yes, and this is exactly why a hospital dental department matters: your sugar or clotting is checked in the lab the same morning, your physician is a corridor away, and the extraction is planned around your medicines rather than refused.

Is dental treatment cashless on CGHS?

Consultation and covered dental procedures are billed to CGHS and other government panels at approved rates; some cosmetic work is not covered by any scheme. The desk tells you before treatment starts which is which.

Do you do root canal in a single sitting?

Where the tooth allows, yes — single-sitting root canal is offered; infected or complex teeth need two or three visits, and the dentist tells you which after the X-ray.
