Recovery is a department here, not an afterthought. Physiotherapists work the wards and the OPD — after joint replacement and fracture surgery, after a stroke, for back and neck pain, and for the chests that need help clearing. Dietetics, audiology and speech therapy sit alongside. More than 7,500 therapy sessions this year.
Yes — it starts on the ward the day after surgery and continues in the OPD, with the same team throughout. Rehabilitation is planned into the operation at Healing Tree, not added afterwards, which is why our orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists share a campus.
You can book physiotherapy directly, but we recommend a short OPD visit first — an orthopaedic or neurology opinion rules out the causes that exercise alone would not fix, and the physiotherapist then works to a clear plan.
Physiotherapy sessions advised by a treating doctor are covered on CGHS, Delhi Police, UP-ESIC and other government panels at approved rates; bring the doctor's advice slip and your card.
Runs the physiotherapy floor six mornings a week: post-surgery and post-fracture rehabilitation, back and neck pain programmes, knee and shoulder mobilisation, chest physiotherapy for admitted patients, and the home-exercise plans patients take away.
